Terms of Use

The rules for using gleamin.com, in plain English: what you can do on the site, who owns the content, our product information, the waitlist and the limits of our responsibility.

Last updated

These Terms of Use explain the rules for using gleamin.com (the "site"). The site is run by Gleamin Inc. ("Gleamin", "we", "us").

1. Accepting these terms

By using the site, you agree to these terms. Our Privacy Center and Cookie Policy explain how we handle personal information, including how we use cookies, pixels and server-side tools for analytics and advertising, and how you can opt out. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the site.

You must be 18 or older to use the site and to join our waitlist.

Please note: section 9 says that disputes go to individual arbitration, not court, and that class actions are not allowed.

2. Using the site

You may use the site for your own personal, non-commercial use. Please do not:

  • break the law or anyone else's rights while using the site
  • try to get into areas of the site you are not allowed to access, including the password-protected team area
  • disrupt the site, overload it or add harmful code
  • copy the site in bulk, including with bots or scrapers, without our written permission
  • pretend to be someone else or give us false information

We may suspend or block access to anyone who breaks these rules.

3. Our content

The site's text, images, videos, logos and design belong to Gleamin or to people who have allowed us to use them. They are protected by copyright and trademark law.

You may view and share links to our pages. You may not copy, sell or reuse our content without our written permission. "Gleamin" and our logos are our trademarks.

4. Product information, not medical advice

We work to keep product information accurate and up to date. Always read the label and product listing on Amazon before you use a product, because packaging and formulas can change.

Everything on the site is general information. It is not medical advice and does not replace a visit to a doctor or dermatologist. If you have a skin condition or concern, talk to a doctor or dermatologist.

Results vary from person to person. Patch test new products first, and stop using a product if your skin becomes irritated.

We do not sell products on gleamin.com. When you click through to Amazon, you leave our site. Your purchase is between you and Amazon (or the seller named on Amazon) and follows Amazon's terms, including its shipping and return policies. Gleamin does not offer its own refund or return promise. Returns and refunds for Amazon orders are handled only under Amazon's policies.

The site may also link to other sites, such as our social media pages. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content or privacy practices.

We also advertise on other sites and apps, such as those run by Meta, Google, TikTok and Pinterest. Those services follow their own terms and privacy policies.

6. The waitlist and emails

When you join our waitlist, you agree that we may email you about Gleamin, including launch news, early access and product updates. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email.

Joining the waitlist does not create a patient relationship and does not reserve any product. Any future prescription products will need an evaluation by a licensed clinician.

Our Privacy Center explains how we handle your email address, including when we send a scrambled ("hashed") version of it to advertising partners to measure our ads, and how to opt out.

7. Disclaimers

We provide the site "as is" and "as available". To the extent the law allows, we make no warranties of any kind about the site, including that it will always be available, error-free or secure.

8. Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, Gleamin will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages that come from your use of the site.

To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim about the site is limited to US $100.

Some places do not allow these limits, so they may not all apply to you. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under law that cannot be waived.

9. Governing law and disputes

Governing law. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, US, without regard to its conflict of law rules. The Federal Arbitration Act governs this section.

Talk to us first. If you have a problem, please contact us first. Most issues can be sorted out quickly.

Arbitration. If we cannot sort it out, you and Gleamin agree to settle any dispute about these terms or the site by binding individual arbitration, not in court. The American Arbitration Association (AAA) will run it under its Consumer Arbitration Rules. The arbitration will be seated in Delaware. This means you and Gleamin both give up the right to a trial before a judge or jury.

Small claims. Either of us may instead bring an individual claim in small claims court, if the claim qualifies.

No class actions. You and Gleamin may bring claims only on an individual basis. Neither of us may bring or join a class, collective or representative action.

Courts. If a dispute is not arbitrated or heard in small claims court, it will be handled in the state or federal courts in Delaware.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we will change the "last updated" date on this page. If you keep using the site after an update, you accept the new terms.
