- Start every other night if you're new to retinol, then build up to nightly.
- Wear a broad-spectrum sunscreen (SPF 30 or higher) on exposed skin during the day, since retinol makes skin more sensitive to the sun.

About this product
Your body deserves the same care as your face. The Advanced Brightening Body Cream brings the ingredients you'd usually find in a face serum, like vitamin C, retinol, 4% niacinamide and peptides, into a rich, fast-absorbing cream for legs, arms, shoulders and anywhere that looks uneven.
What's inside
Vitamin C, niacinamide, tone-evening peptides and turmeric work together for a brighter, more even-looking tone. Retinol helps skin look smoother and renewed. Ceramides, shea butter, sunflower oil and hyaluronic acid add deep, lasting moisture, so skin feels soft rather than tight. It has a light floral scent.
What to expect
- From the first night: skin feels soft, smooth and hydrated.
- Over 8 to 12 weeks of regular use: a more even-looking, radiant tone on areas like knees, elbows and legs. Results vary from person to person.
Retinol, the right way
Retinol is best used at night. If it's new to you, start every other night and build up. Wear a broad-spectrum sunscreen (SPF 30 or higher) on exposed skin during the day, since retinol makes skin more sensitive to the sun. This cream isn't suitable during pregnancy or breastfeeding. If you're trying to conceive, check with your doctor first. See our sun protection FAQs.
Face, body and intimate skin
Body skin is thicker than facial skin, while intimate skin is more delicate. That's why this cream is for the body only; for the bikini line and inner thighs, choose the gentler Illuminating Intimate Serum. Read why face, body and intimate skin need different care.

Questions about this product
Can I use a retinol body cream every night?
Most people can use it nightly once their skin is used to it. Start every other night, build up slowly and wear a broad-spectrum sunscreen (SPF 30 or higher) on exposed skin during the day. It isn't suitable during pregnancy or breastfeeding.
Should I use the body cream in the morning or at night?
At night. Retinol is best used in the evening, and the cream has time to sink in while you sleep.
Can I use the body cream on my bikini line or inner thighs?
We don't recommend it. With retinol and fragrance, it's made for body skin, not delicate intimate areas. For the bikini line and inner thighs, use the Illuminating Intimate Serum.
Does the Advanced Brightening Body Cream have a scent?
Yes, it has a light floral scent. If you're sensitive to fragrance, patch test on your inner arm first. The full ingredient list is on this page.
Will it help dark knees and elbows?
Used regularly, it helps knees, elbows and other uneven-looking areas look brighter and more even over 8 to 12 weeks. Results vary. Gentle exfoliation, moisture and sunscreen on exposed areas all help.
