About this product
Skin on the bikini line, inner thighs and underarms is different from the skin on your face. It's thinner in places, it rubs against itself and clothing, and it deals with shaving, waxing and sweat. That's why darker-looking areas there are so common, and why a face serum isn't always the kindest choice.
The Illuminating Intimate Serum is made for those areas. It pairs 4% niacinamide with two stable forms of vitamin C, alpha arbutin and turmeric for a brighter, more even-looking tone, plus allantoin, panthenol and centella to keep it comfortable. The formula was developed with the pH of intimate skin in mind.

What to expect
Friction and shaving marks build up slowly, and they change slowly too. With twice-daily use, most people notice a more even-looking tone over 8 to 12 weeks. Results vary. Cutting down friction helps: breathable underwear, a gentle wash and a razor that's actually sharp.
Why not just use a face serum?
You can, carefully. But many face serums are built for tougher facial skin and can feel harsh on delicate areas. Read why face, body and intimate skin need different care and what works (and what to skip) for the bikini line.
A few ground rules
- For external use only. Keep it away from mucous membranes and the eyes.
- Patch test on your inner arm first, and skip it on broken or irritated skin.
- If you notice itching, burning or a rash, stop using it and talk to a doctor.
- Sudden darkening, or darkening with velvety or thickened skin, is worth checking with a doctor, as it can have an underlying cause.

How to use
Wash and dry the area. For best results, apply to dry, freshly washed skin with clean hands.
Smooth a thin layer over the bikini line, inner thighs, underarms or other areas where skin rubs together. For external use only.
Use morning and night.
If you've just shaved or waxed, wait until your skin feels calm before applying.
Be patient: tone changes build gradually over 8 to 12 weeks of regular use.
Who it's for
- Bikini line, inner thighs, underarms and other areas where skin rubs together
- Skin prone to dark marks from friction, shaving or ingrown hairs
- Anyone who wants a gentler option than using a face serum below the neck
Questions about this product
Where can I use the Illuminating Intimate Serum?
On the external skin of the bikini line, inner thighs, underarms, the crease under the bottom and other places where skin rubs together. It's for external use only, so keep it away from mucous membranes and the eyes.
Is the Illuminating Intimate Serum safe for sensitive skin?
The Illuminating Intimate Serum is made for sensitive intimate skin. It is pH-balanced, and it pairs its brightening ingredients (4% niacinamide, alpha arbutin and vitamin C) with soothing allantoin, panthenol and centella asiatica.
Every skin is different, so patch test on your inner arm for 2 to 3 days first, use it on external skin only, and stop if it stings, itches or burns. If you have a rash, broken skin or a skin condition in the area, check with a doctor before using it. More on the Illuminating Intimate Serum page.
Can I use the Illuminating Intimate Serum right after shaving or waxing?
Not right away: give your skin a break first. Wait until it feels calm, usually a day or two after shaving or waxing, and never apply it to nicks, cuts or broken skin.
How long does the Illuminating Intimate Serum take to work?
Most people notice a change over 8 to 12 weeks of twice-daily use. Results vary, and friction keeps adding new marks, so pair the serum with breathable fabrics and gentle hair removal.
Can I use my face serum on my bikini line?
We don't recommend using a face serum on your bikini line. Intimate skin is thinner and more permeable than facial skin, and strong acids or low-pH serums made for the face can irritate it. On melanin-rich skin, irritation leads to more pigment, not less. Use a formula made for intimate skin instead.
