A good routine starts with a good cleanse. The Clarifying Brightening Cleanser (formerly our Vitamin C Active Cleanser) washes away oil, sunscreen and makeup while gently exfoliating, so skin feels fresh and smooth, not stripped.
What's inside
Vitamin C and vitamin C-rich desert lime bring a brighter-looking finish. 2% salicylic acid helps keep pores looking clear, while PHA and AHAs gently smooth rough-feeling skin. Turmeric rounds it out.

How to use
Massage a small amount onto wet skin in gentle, circular motions.
Rinse thoroughly with lukewarm water and pat dry with a soft cloth.
Use morning and night, then follow with serum and moisturizer. If your skin feels dry, use it once a day.

Questions about this product
Can I use the Clarifying Brightening Cleanser every day?
Yes, most skin types can use the Clarifying Brightening Cleanser every day. Oily and breakout-prone skin can use it morning and night. Dry or sensitive skin often does best with once a day, in the evening, and a splash of water in the morning, because its exfoliating acids add up.
Massage it onto damp skin for about 30 seconds, then rinse. On nights you use the Vitamin C Clay Mask or another exfoliant, keep the rest of your routine gentle.
Can I use an exfoliating cleanser with a vitamin C serum?
Yes. The cleanser rinses off, so it's a gentle way to get exfoliating acids into your routine. Follow with serum and moisturizer, and wear sunscreen in the morning.
Is the Clarifying Brightening Cleanser OK for sensitive skin?
It can be, with a slow start: it's made to cleanse without stripping, but it does contain exfoliating acids. If your skin is sensitive, start once a day and patch test first.
Is the Clarifying Brightening Cleanser the same as the Vitamin C Active Cleanser?
Yes. The Clarifying Brightening Cleanser is the newer name for our Vitamin C Active Cleanser.

Glory for my sensitive skin
it has helped to clear my skin of acne scars, prevent breakouts, and get rid of new acne bumps. It’s also great for sensitive skin, I haven’t had any negative reaction to it even when I first started using it and was adjusting to the formula. It’s very efficient and works fast.
