Long before it was a best-seller, our Vitamin C Clay Mask started in a kitchen. People everywhere were mixing turmeric and vitamin C into homemade masks because they loved how bright and fresh their skin looked afterwards. We wanted to make that ritual work properly: stable, balanced and comfortable to wear. It took two years to get right, from the first concept in 2017 to launch in 2019.

Today it's the product that built Gleamin. It has two "Best Mask" awards from 2025 and a community of fans who post their glow.

What makes it different

Most clay masks do one job: soak up oil. This one is built to brighten as well as refresh, without leaving skin tight or dry.

What's inside

Kakadu plum. This Australian fruit has the highest natural vitamin C content ever recorded in a fruit, many times that of an orange [1]. It's also rich in antioxidant polyphenols such as ellagic and gallic acid.

Desert lime. A second native Australian source of vitamin C, full of antioxidants that help the skin look smoother and more even.

Turmeric. A kitchen classic, loved for its calming, glow-boosting reputation.

Hydroclay. Our upgraded clay blend lifts away oil and buildup, dries without flaking, spreads smoothly and keeps the formula stable.

Aloe vera. It balances the clay, so skin feels hydrated and comfortable when you rinse, not stripped.

Our vitamin C blend of Kakadu plum and desert lime still comes from Australia, where the mask was first made.

What to expect

  • Right after rinsing: skin looks fresher and more radiant, and feels soft.
  • Over weeks of regular use: a brighter, more even-looking complexion.
  • Anywhere on the body: many customers use it on their chest, back and underarms too.

How to use it

  1. Start with clean, dry skin.
  2. Apply an even layer with your fingertips or a spatula, avoiding the eyes and lips.
  3. Leave it on for 10 minutes.
  4. Rinse with warm water and pat dry.
  5. Follow with serum and moisturizer.

How often: start with 1 to 2 times a week. Many of us use it up to 3 times a week. Adjust to what your skin enjoys. If your skin is sensitive, patch test on your inner arm first.

Build the routine

For an even more even-looking tone, pair the mask with our Superactive Serum on the other days. Read our full brightening routine for the details.
